You may get a message when attempting to login to the desktop application that says the following:
Your IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx is not permitted to access this resource. Send your IP address to your system administrator so they can grant you access.
This issue can be dealt with in two ways.
1) If you have access your CivilPro Connection File (myCompany.cpcf) you can load it into CivilPro via the Select Database option on the login screen. This will need to be done for each IP Address you use - ie you will have to do this once in your office and again at site or at home depending on where you are.
If you do not have a CivilPro Connection File (.cpcf), submit a support ticket with a screenshot of the above error message and ask to be provided with your connection file. One of our support team will be able to assist.
2) If your CivilPro instance does not support access with a connection file you will need to send your IP address to your system administrator to grant you access. This option is rarely used and if you are unsure please reach out to our support staff as they will be able to help you.
