This process shows you how to update a checklist when the status of a linked standing approval has been finalized.
When the Standing Approval has been approved or its status updated, an authorized user (as designated by your Administrator/Project Manager) will need to update the same inspection item for all the other checklists.
1. Navigate to the Checklist Register (Quality Assurance > Checklists), select the relevant checklist and click on the lot number to view the inspection item. Right-click on the inspection item, select “Approvals”, then “View Approval”.
2. Click “Start Workflow”.
3. In the dialog box, click “Start Workflow”.
4a. Click on the “Action Step” to open the Action Approval Step dialog box.
4b. In the Action field, select “Manually Approved”. In the “Comments” field, enter a description to help you identify the source of the approval e.g. As per standing approval in checklist EMRWS 001”
5. Click “Save”, then “Close”.
6. The inspection item in the second checklist will now be updated as “Approved”.
