Connect Desktop App to Web App/Cloud via API (D)

Authenticate via API on Desktop 

This process shows you how to connect your CivilPro Desktop App to your Web App/ Cloud (Azure database) by authenticating via your API on your CivilPro Desktop Application. If you require assistance with the authentication, please submit a request to our Support team.  

Before you start this process, you must have already downloaded and installed the CivilPro Desktop App. If not, see How do I install CivilPro Desktop?

Instructions: 

New User : 

1a. If you are signing in to CivilPro Desktop for the first time, please select the option "Authenticate online against CivilPro Cloud instance". Skip Step 2 and proceed to Step 3. 

Existing User : 

1b. If you have signed in to CivilPro Desktop before, open your Desktop Login Page. Proceed to Step 2. 

2. Click on the “Select Database” and select “Connect with API”.

3.  In the API Address field, enter the URL in this format :  https://yourcompanynamedata.civilpro.com ,        For example, if your company's name is ABC Ltd, then your API Address is     

    https://ABCdata.civilpro.com  (Note: Your Administrator can also view the API address in the Web App        under Subscriptions)

     Next, enter your User name and Password and Sign In.

     Your API is now authenticated and your Desktop data is now connected to your Cloud.
