After the Survey Request is created, you will have to notify the Surveyor. The Survey Request will not be sent to the Surveyor unless you notify the Surveyor.
Before you can notify the Surveyor, the Administrator has to set up the role and invite the Surveyor to become a User or an Associate User.
1. In the Survey Request register (Quality Assurance - Survey Requests), select the Survey Request that you have created and right-click on it, and select "Notify Surveyor" from the dropdown list.
Alternatively, click on the "Notebook" icon on the right panel, then select "Notify Surveyor".
2. The "Send Notification Email " dialog box will open. In the "Mail To: " field, it'll be auto-populated with the surveyor's name as entered when the Survey Request was created.
You can also copy the email to another person using the "CC" field. Scroll down the page using the scroll pane on the right to view the attach file options and send tabs at the bottom. You can attach additional files to the email using these options. (Refer to Fig 2a and 2b)
Click "Send Notification".
3. Once the email is received by the surveyor, they can click on the link in the email to view and update the Survey Request.
Note: The Surveyor will be prompted to sign in to CivilPro, if they are not signed in.
