The user setting is specific to an individual and is applied across all projects. In CivilPro desktop, the user setting allows you to manage a few user options.
Instructions :
1) After signing in to a project, click on the fourth icon from the left on the top toolbar, then select "User Settings" from the dropdown menu.
2) The User Settings dialog box allows you to change the followings :
- Startup Register - option to select which register to appear when you sign in to CivilPro desktop. The default is the Lot Register.
- Notification Method - option to select how you would like to receive your notification. Project Setting means that you are following the method selected by your Administrator in the Project Setting.
- Default days register - option to set the register to automatically show the most recent data from the number of days entered, for example, 30 days means the register shows the data from the last 30 days. Using this option can help to save time when you open your register especially if you have a lot of old data and the register doesn't need to load all the data on the page.
- Grids editable by default - selecting this option allows editing in all forms by default which is the commonly used setting.
- Use spell check - when selected, it is applied in many large text fields. Using this option may affect the processing speed
Click "OK" to save your updates.
