Occasionally, there might be a need to re-assign an approval to a new requester due to several reasons, for example, the original requester is away or has left the project and the approval needs to be managed or re-submitted by another person.
This process shows you how to reassign a new requester to an approval and will work for all types of approvals.
1) Select the relevant project and navigate to the Approval register.
2) Select the approval that is to be re-assigned. On the right panel, click on the "Notepad" icon (Action on Selection) and select "Re-assign Requester".
3) Select the new Requester from the dropdown list on the New Requester dialog box. Click Save.
Note: The new requester must have been given the appropriate user permission by your Administrator to request approval, otherwise their name will not appear on the dropdown list.
4) You can now see on the approval register that the requester has been updated.
