What types of reports are available in CivilPro?
In almost every CivilPro register, there is an option to generate, download, print and email reports.
Each register has its own unique set of default reports that can be accessed easily for reporting purposes. For example, in the Lot Register, you can generate and print Conformance report, Quantity Sheet, Measure Up Sheet, Conformance Declaration, etc.
Custom Reports are an option in CivilPro if there is a requirement to make some changes to the default version. There are quick tools available to turn off some of the default options on the reports such as NCR, Checklist and Lot Conformance reports.
How to use the Custom Reports?
The reports in each register are based on standard industrial reporting requirements as well as fit-for-purpose tasks such as field checklists, conformance declaration, etc. The default report layout will meet most standard requirements so most of our users use the default reports as they are.
However, the options to customize your report are available if you would like to make some adjustments to your report’s layout. Please note that there are limitations on what fields can be changed. You will NOT be able to update report titles and headings.
We do not recommend doing heavy editing on the report layouts as you may be removing information from the template that other users might need. Please note that if you make the edited template as the default template, it will apply to all the users accessing the same project.
How to generate and download reports?
For most registers, you can access the ‘Reports’ menu by clicking on the ‘Printer’ icon on the right panel of the register.
You can also access the ‘Report Options’ to customize your report. When this option is selected, the dropdown list will display the feature report options that you can switch on or off in your report.
Tips for users:
- You can use the filters on the register to locate your items before generating reports. See ‘Set Up and Save Custom Views in Registers’.
- For main registers such as Lot, NCR and Checklist registers, there are many pre-built report options to suit various reporting requirements. See also ‘Generate Lot Register Reports’.
- You can download the reports as PDF copies and email them. However, this is unnecessary most of the time as you can notify your other users within CivilPro.
- You can also print the register as they appear on the screen.
