Introduction
Before a Quality Assurance - Lot can be generated, the following QA Setup is required at a minimum:
- QA Setup - Work Type
- QA Setup - Area Code
Precursor Tasks
- You must Create a new Project before you can complete this task.
- You could Manage Project Settings and QA Setup - Work Types before completing this task.

Instructions
- QA Setup for Area Codes is very similar to the QA Setup for Work Types.
- Click “Projects”,
- Click the project number to open the project,
- Click on the burger menu,
- Click “QA Setup”, then “Area Codes”
- To add a new Work Type:
a. Click “+ NEW AREA CODE”,
b. Enter the 4-character work type identifier code,
c. Enter the work type description,
d. Click “SAVE”.
7. To import a Work Type from a CSV file:
a. The imported CSV must list the 4-character Area Code identifier code in the first column, and the Area Code description in the second column.
b. Only comma delimited type CSV files can be imported. These types of files can be created by choosing this particular file type during the save as process when using a spreadsheet editor like Excel.
c. Right-click anywhere in the main page to open the context menu:
d. Click “Import from File”
e. Click “IMPORT FROM FILE”
f. Find, select, and open the appropriate file,
g. Click on the “Value1” field, and select “Area Code”,
h. Click on the “Value2” field, and select “Description”,
i. Click “IMPORT”.
8. To modify an existing Area Code:
a. Click on the 4-character Work Type identifier code (blue hyperlink),
b. Enact the modifications,
c. Click “SAVE”.
9. To select/deselect Area Code(s):
a. Click anywhere on the Area Code row (except the 4-character Area Code identifier code (blue hyperlink)),
b. One can “Select All” or “Deselect All” from the context menu.
10. There is a Search function near the top right corner of the window.
11. To delete existing Area Code(s):
a. Select the Area Code(s),
b. Right-click anywhere in the main page to open the context menu:
c. Click “Delete Selected” (You may be presented with deletion warnings).
