In CivilPro, you can document all instructions received and issued on site as part of your Field workflows. The instructions can be added directly from the Instructions register or from within a Site Diary. If adding from within the Site Diary, the instruction will be flagged as "from diary" on the Instructions register.
Note: You cannot link an instruction to a site diary entry after adding it from the Instructions register. You must do it from the Site Diary register.
Add New Instruction
1. Navigate to the Instructions register, under Field. Then, click 'New Instruction' on the bottom toolbar.
2. Complete the fields and click 'Save and Close'.
Link the Instruction to Related Items
3a. Once added to your register, you can link the selected Instruction to the Related Items on the right panel i.e. Contract Notices, Lots, Variations, Filestore Docs and Photos.
First, select the Instruction item on the register and double-click on the related item on the right panel to link.
3b. In the dialog box, double-click on the item to link. Click 'Close'.
Generate and Email PDF Report
4a. To generate a report of the instructions, select one or more items on the register and click 'Instruction Report' on the top toolbar.
4b. A PDF report will be generated. To send a copy of the PDF by email, click 'Email PDF'.
