In CivilPro Cloud, there is an option to import data in Excel files (from Clipboard or as CSV files). However, only specific data can be imported. CivilPro Cloud can only identify and capture data in your file that aligns with the importable values in its system.

Hence, it is important that you format your files before importing to align your data correctly in CivilPro Cloud. Use the following points as your guide when formatting:
- Include only the data that can be imported (hierarchical data cannot be imported)
- No merged or split cells
- No empty cells between rows or columns
- Headings can be included but these can be added later in CivilPro if not imported
- Align the Headings/Columns in your file with the importable values shown in Table A
- Most columns have character limits, for example, "Units" columns typically have a 10-character limit (including space). "Description" columns tend to have more character allowance but you should always include the most relevant information only. If your values are too long, you'll get an error message when importing your file.
