Once the result for a Test Request is ready, the Tester can notify the Requester of the result via CivilPro.
Please note that the Administrator has to set up the role and invite the Tester to become a User or Associate User first. This would have been done when the Test Request notification was sent to the tester.

1. In the Test Requests Register (Quality Assurance > Test Requests):
Select the Test Request by clicking on it
Click on the “Notepad” icon on the right panel and select “Notify Result“.
(You can also right click on the Test Request to select this option).
2a. Some of the fields will be populated by default, however these can be edited :
- Notice Date - by default, the current date
- Notice From - by default, the current user
- Notice To - the Test Requester
- CC – option to copy other users
- Attachments - the Tester can attach the result document by uploading it to the Filestore and linking it here
- Date Required
The following fields are not editable and will be populated by CivilPro as updates are made to the notification. You can view the changes in these fields when you open the notification in the Notification register.
- Publish Date
- Progress
Click 'Next'.
2b. The subject and the message will be pre -populated with the related information from the test request, however, you can edit or add additional information in these fields.
2c In the 'Message' section, under the 'Insert' tab, you have the options to insert a table or hyperlink in your message. Click 'Next'.
3. There are options here to send, preview or save the notification. If you are ready, select 'Publish, Sending notification & emails' (default), and click 'Publish & Send'.
4a. The Test Requester/recipient will receive an email to advise them that there is a new upload to the Test Request.
They can click on the Test Request Number link in the email to sign in to CivilPro.
4b. Click on the “Related Items” icon on the right panel.
Under “Email Logs”, click on the link “Test requests has a new upload” to view the results.
