Create a Test Request

Here we'll create a Test Request, add Testing Methods and number of required samples, then send to our Tester. After reviewing this article, be sure to see how CivilPro can automate this entire process directly from a Checklist.

Before you create a Test Request, you must have completed setting up all the QA registers for your project and created your Lot. If there are Test Properties to be included, these also must be added before the request can be created.

You'll then see a popup that asks if you'd like to Notify Tester. Best to send this immediately, otherwise it will remain in the Test Request register without the Tester being notified.

However, if you'd like to hold fire on sending the notification, no worries, this can be sent whenever you are ready by using Notify Tester.
