Once a Punchlist is created, it can be updated and viewed by users who have been given access to do so. Users can also generate reports from the Punchlists.

1. Navigate to the Punchlist register.
2a) To update the items within a Punchlist, double-click on the Punchlist to view the checklist items or click on "View Punchlist" (under Operations).
Select the Punchlist item and under 'Item Operations', click on the required action :
- Check Selected
- Verify Selected
- Set Approval Selected
Alternatively, click on the "Enable Editing" icon on the bottom toolbar, then double-click on the box to place a green tick.
Notes:
- Only users who have been linked to the Punchlist can check, verify and approve based on the permission level that was assigned during linking.
- If any of the the action button is greyed out, it means that the user has not been given the permission for that specific action.
- You can check your permission level under "Roles" on the right panel.
2b) To undo the action from the Punchlist ( for example, due to error), select the relevant Punchlist item and under 'Item Operations', click on the required action:
- Uncheck Selected
- Unverify Selected
- Remove Approval Selected
Important: When removing these actions, you have to follow the hierarchy of the permission levels. Hence, you can only "Unverify" after "Remove Approval", and "Uncheck" after "Unverify" and/or "Remove Approval".
2c) After all the items in Punchlist have been resolved i.e. Checked, Verified and Approved, the Punchlist can be closed out. CivilPro will automatically ask if you want to close out the Punchlist once all items have been resolved. Click "Yes" to Close Out.
Alternatively, click on the "Operations" tab, select the relevant Punchlist and click on "Close out selected".
Any editing required has to be done before the Punchlist is closed out. To edit the description of the Punchlist (on the register), click on the "Enable Editing" icon on the bottom toolbar, then the "Description" field of the relevant row.
3. You can also view who has checked, verified and approved the items. Double-click on a Punchlist to open the checklist. Under the Views tab, click on "Column chooser" and drag the column ( e.g. Check By Id) to the Header toolbar.
4. You can also generate reports by clicking on the "Reports" tab and access the quick toolbar.
