Users can customize notification templates within CivilPro Desktop.
Warning: Default templates are critical for system function. Significant changes to default settings may cause errors in sending notifications. We recommend restricting edits to minor adjustments, such as adding specific text or fields to the Subject or Body.
Instructions :
1. After signing in to a project, click on the fourth icon from the left on the top toolbar, then select System Templates from the dropdown menu.
2. Double-click the specific template you wish to modify (e.g., User Invite Email).
3. In the System Template dialog, you can edit the Subject and Body. To insert variable data (Field Placeholders):
Drag the desired field from the Field Chooser panel on the right into the text area.
Note: Do not delete or modify characters within a Field Placeholder, as this will prevent the variable from resolving correctly.
4. Right-click within the message body to access formatting options (bullets, tables, font color, hyperlinks, etc.).
Note: If inserting a table, specific constraints apply to Field Choosers. Please refer to the Contract Notice Template Field Chooser rules.
Click Save & Close.
If you'd like to test what this specific notification (User Invite Email) looks like when received, consider inviting yourself as an Associate Role (free) using a secondary email address.
