You have the option to edit and customize the notification templates on CivilPro desktop.
CARE: These notification templates are set up by default and if they are inadvertently deleted or their default template settings are changed, it may lead to errors in sending out notifications. Hence, we do not recommend making major adjustments to these templates. However, you can make minor adjustments such as adding some text or fields to the Subject or Body of your template to personalize your emails.
Instructions :
1) After signing in to a project, click on the fourth icon from the left on the top toolbar, then select "System Templates" from the dropdown menu.
2) Double-click on the template that you want to customize the text. For this example, we are selecting the “User Invite Email”.
3) In the System Template dialog box, you can edit the text and be able to insert a field chooser.
The two fields that you can customize are the Subject and Body of the template. You can edit the text or insert a "Field Placeholder" which is a variable field based on the project that you are currently signed in.
To insert a Field Placeholder, click and drag the field from the Field Chooser on the right panel to where you want to place it on the template.
Note: If you are editing the text or moving the field placeholder, ensure that you do not delete any character that is a part of the placeholder as this will stop it from working.
4) You can also edit further e.g. insert Bullet List, change Font colour, Add link, etc. by right clicking anywhere on the message body.
Once you finish editing, click “Save & Close”.
