Connect Desktop App to Cloud via API (D)

Authenticate via API on Desktop 

To connect your desktop app to your Azure database (which the cloud app is automatically connected to), please follow the below steps:

This process shows you how to Authenticate via your API on your CivilPro Desktop Application. This process allows you to get around any issues with firewalls blocking access to your database. If your application isn't set up for this authentication and you would like it to be, please send a message to our support team at Submit a request 

New User : 

1a. If you are signing in to CivilPro Desktop for the first time, please select the option "Authenticate online against CivilPro Cloud instance". Skip Step 2 and proceed to Step 3. 

Existing User : 

1b. If you have signed in to CivilPro Desktop before, open your Desktop Login Page. Proceed to Step 2. 

2. Click on the “Select Database” and select “Connect with API”.

3.  In the API Address field, enter the URL :  https://yourcompanydata.civilpro.com

     Enter your User name and Password and Sign In.

     Your API is now authenticated and your Desktop data is now connected to your Cloud.
