There are three ways to sign in to CivilPro Desktop :
- CivilPro Identity
- Google Identity
- Microsoft Identity
1) Sign In with CivilPro Identity
You are signing in using a CivilPro username and password set up via an invite sent to you or allocated by your Administrator. Open your Desktop login screen.
Note: If you have not done so already, use this process Connect Desktop v11 App to Cloud via API to ensure that you are signing to the correct database.
2) Sign In with Google or Microsoft Identity (SSO)
This is known as Single Sign On and requires an existing CivilPro account before you can sign in.
Please note the Single Sign On feature must be turned on first by your Administrator. Please check with your Administrator if you are not sure. [ For Administrators - refer to Manage Cross-Project (Subscription) Settings].
Depending on how your CivilPro account was created, you may need to manually connect your Microsoft and Google identity to your CivilPro account.
a) Your account was created by you accepting an invite
If you have added your Google or Microsoft email to your profile, just select the Sign-In option and proceed to enter your password for your Google or Microsoft account. If you are already signed in to either of these accounts, you'll be signed in straightaway.
b) Your CivilPro account was created by an Administrator or you are using an existing CivilPro account
In such cases, there may be a likelihood that your Google or Microsoft identity has not been added to your CivilPro profile. You will need to manually link your CivilPro profile to your Single Sign On identity.
bi) First, sign in to CivilPro with your CivilPro username and password as in Step 1. Next, click on the fifth icon from the left on the top toolbar, and select "My profile".
bii) Click on 'Connect SSO' on the top toolbar. Then select the relevant SSO option in the dialog box.
