In CivilPro, the Dashboard provides a snapshot of the status of four key registers at a specific point in time. It provides a quick summary of the project progress where you can review, monitor and identify any bottlenecks in your project.
The dashboard displays the statistics of the following four key registers:
- Lot Register
- NCR Register
- Test Request Register
- Approval Register
Under each register, you can view the following statistics displayed as charts:
- Status ( either specific or in total) by setting your desired Cutoff date
- Activity ( track changes to each status from month to month)
- Status at EOM (view the totals of each status at the end of each month)
- User (track activity based on each user)
This process shows you how to use the dashboard on your desktop.
Note :The dashboard on the Cloud platform has a slightly different look and design but they serve the same purpose and deliver the same results.
Instructions:
1) Navigate to Dashboard, under Quality Assurance.
Use the tabs on the bottom toolbar to navigate to: Lot Stats , NCR Stats, Test Stats and Approval Stats.
2) Use the Filters to customize and view only the data for specific months, users, status, etc
When click on 'Show Filters', the Change Options panel on the right can be filtered as follows:
- Cutoff Date - the date at which any data beyond will not be included. It is typically used to limit data to specific periods for month-end reporting. ( Note: By default, the cutoff date is set automagically to the end of the most recent month - as this is mostly used for EOM reporting. To view the latest updates to your dashboard, adjust the filter to today's date).
- User - for viewing activities by a specific user
- Lot/NCR/Test/Appr Status - for filtering the status of the items on the register
- Appr. Types - for filtering approval types e.g. Witness Point, Hold Point, NCR,
- Days open for trendline - this is shown in the "Lot Status at EOM" chart as a trendline that indicates how long the lot status remain open. By default, this is 60 days but can be customized using this option
- Show (n) recent months - this refers to how far back (in the number of months) you want to view the data from the cutoff date. For example, if you set this option to six months, you'll see data only in the past six months from the cutoff date.
- Separate pre-opened lots - this is used to filter the Open Lots into Pre-Opened Lots which are Lots without a "Date Work Started", and Active Lots. The Pre-Opened Lots will be displayed as grey in the charts.
