As CivilPro is accessed using a web browser, you can use CivilPro in the field to complete Checklists, attach Photos - even raise Test Requests. Your Administrator can also use their phone or tablet to release Hold Points by scanning a QR code you produce.
Demonstrated in this guide:
- Accessing Checklists on a table / mobile
- Completing Check / Verify items on a Checklist
- Raising Hold Points / Witness Points
- Using Quick Approval QR code to immediately release HPs / WPs with your Administrator
- Releasing Hold Points / Witness Points that have been raised days earlier

2. Select your project
3. Navigate to Spec and Conformance -> Checklists. This will show all active Checklists on the project, and allow you to search for a Checklist you want to complete. Note - you can search for Lot Description, Raised By, Control Line etc.

Using Quick Approval QR code to immediately release HPs / WPs with your Administrator
6. To raise a Quick Approval (to release on the spot with your Administrator), long-press the Approval box and select Quick Approval.
This will display a QR code that your Administrator can scan. After logging in, they will see a simple screen with the Checklist Text, a comments box, and an Approve button. After selecting Approve, this approval will be released.
Releasing Hold Points / Witness Points that have been raised days earlier
7. To release an Approval that has already been raised, check the box to the left of the Checklist line item to select it. Select Menu, Related Items, then click on the Checklist Linked approval.
This will take you to the Approval window. Here, you will see 'Show QR Code' - select that, then ask your Administrator to scan it and progress as per Step 6
