If a user has forgotten their username and can't sign in, an Administrator can look it up for them.
Note: if they've also forgotten their password, they can reset it with the Forgot Password option on the sign-in screen once they have their username. Signed-in users can also change their own password at any time from their user settings.
Instructions:
1. Go to Team, then click on the user in question.
2. The Username is shown below, encircled in red.
3. You can also add the 'Username' column to the Team register.
Right-click on the headline toolbar to open the dropdown menu. Next, click on 'Column Chooser' on the list.
4. Click-hold and drag the tab 'Username' to the register.
5. You can now see the Username column on your register.
Note: You can save this view as your custom view. See "Set Up and save Custom Views Register".
Next steps
If the username isn't the issue:
- Re-activate a User – their account may be marked Inactive – how to restore access
- Promote Contact to Full User – if they turn out to be a Contact (no profile icon), they can't sign in until promoted
