If you have added a Contact to your project but decided later that you want to give the Contact full user access, you can do so from the Contact's profile.
Before you proceed, it is important that you understand the difference between a Contact and a Full User. See Add Contacts.
Once the contact has been promoted to a full user, the Administrator can add the full user to the other projects by following this workflow: Add Existing Users to an Existing Project.
Note: Only Subscription Administrators can promote a Contact to Full User.
1. Select the relevant project and navigate to the Contacts register.
2. Click on the Contact's name on the register to open the profile.
Note:
- The contacts are listed in alphabetical order based on their first name.
- Contacts will not have the profile icon next to their name.
- If you see a profile icon next to their name, it means that they are already full user (see fig 2b)

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the tab "Promote Contact To Full User".
4. Enter the Username( you can use their email), select the appropriate role, enter and confirm the password. Click "Save".
The Administrator will need to advise the Contact the username and password. The full user can later update their password once they signed in. See "Change Own User Password".
Note: Once the contact has been promoted to a full user, the Administrator can add the full user to the other projects by following this workflow: Add Existing Users to an Existing Project.
