We add Tests (including test method, frequency, compliance requirements) to our ITP templates directly. This means that when the ITP is linked to a Lot - and a Checklist is created from the ITP template - all testing information is on hand to create an accurate Test Request fast - you can even populate the Test Request automatically and accurately.
This can be done during ITP creation or added to existing ITPs later.
Prerequisite: Ensure the relevant Test Method exists in the register. Refer to Add Test Methods if required.

Instructions:
1. Navigate to Specifications & Conformance > ITP.
2. Select the relevant ITP and click on the specific Inspection Item where the test is required.
3. Click the TEST button on the top toolbar, then select the ADD TEST tab.
4. Complete the test details:
Method: Select the test method.
Frequencies: Define normal and reduced testing frequencies.

Note: The Frequency Reduced quantity must be greater than or equal to the Frequency Normal.
Click Save Test.
5. To edit or delete a test later, click on the Edit or Delete buttons in the test page
Important Notes:
Approved ITPs: If the ITP is Approved (indicated by a green status), you must Unapprove it before adding, editing, or deleting tests.
Visual Aid: An inspection item with an attached test is denoted by a Tick in the Has Test column.
